I recently purchased six bottles of Tambellini Cab Sauv from a wine broker. The vintage was 2004 from a Rutherford vineyard, and I paid $45 a bottle.

I ran a search and found one limited reference to this winery. Does anyone have any experience with this winery? Since I split the bottles with two other people, I figured $90 is reasonable to give a small Napa producer a shot. Any info would be appreciated.

I just got off the phone with a broker trying to pitch me the same wine. She was from montesquieu wines. Never heard of them and I can't find out anything about the winery. Have you received your wine or just ordered? I'm a little leary about receiving a blind sales call, but I'm interested in the wine and the brokerage.

Zak,

That was the same broker. I will let you know if and when I open a bottle. Hopefully, something will come out sometime. It is somewhat suspicious that no one on here knows anything about them, but again, I can live with being duped for $90. If this broker calls again, I will find some lines that they offer that I can research on WS.

I just did the same, actually ordered the wine from Montesquieu, I have place several orders there in the past, most off beat wines, mainly all good, but I paid 48 per bottle, got 6 to try, just arrived, will let you know, opening 1 bottle today.
