The wife opened up an 06 Betz La Cote Rousse over the weekend while I was away. I'm finishing it off with pizza. Surprisingly it's still in good shape. The wine was way to young to open in the first place.

1999 Torbreck Steading, suprisingly good, though with a slight bitter and somewhat clipped finish.

1982 ch. Prieure Lichine

muted on both the nose and palate however every once in a while there would be these wonderful hints of smokiness and cigar ash. Def over the hill (as i was warned) however, it was the perfect bottle to celebrate with

2006 Hogue Cellars 'Genesis' Syrah Columbia Valley

At $8.99, this was probably one of the best QPR syrahs I've had. With a very large production on this wine, I'd highly encourage you to seek it out and, what's more, it's usually easily found at large, non-wine focused supermarkets. Yum!

Cheers!
