TWC is having an off-line November 21 (I think). There should be something nice for you there. Enjoy.

Jqmunro, how was this wine? Daniel Rion is one of my favourite Burg producers.

Last night we had

2005 Chateau Brown, White (this is an excellent wine. With a little air it was just beautiful. I think I'll go pick up some more on sale today.)

2001 Antinori, CC Riserva, Marchese (also excellent. Drink or hold)

W&A - not overly oaked and integrated nicely. Very food-friendly. Nice mineral undertones with just a touch of malo. Almost Burgundian in style and only 12% alcohol (surprise). We rated it 91 pts and a good QPR (think around low $30's).

Unfortunate, web. This doesn't speak well for the vintage, if not the wine itself. This did drink nicely when first released. It should be just now coming into its' window. wow. Bummer.

Maybe it was the high alcohol content - 14.8% - Is that normal for Pinot? I have one '04 left which I'd like to try with an '05.

All being said, I think the Village Reserve was a better drink for half the bucks
