At a Stone Crab Claw dinner with Allred, Domino and my wife last night:

2008 Schramsberg Vineyards Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs
1997 Kalin Cellars Sauvignon Blanc Reserve
2010 Ridge Chardonnay Estate
2007 Stefania Syrah Eaglepoint Ranch

Thanks to Allred for opening the Schramsberg, Kalin and Stefania. All were drinking really well last night.

Ha. Big Grin

While we have our fair share of arguments within our partnership, who picks the wine in Houston is not one of our arguments. Wink

We had a great 2012!

Dallas John, how was the 1994 Volcanic Hill?

All the Brunello talk led me to open a 1997 Vigna Spuntali Angelini tonight. Wish I had more.

1990 Beaucastel CDP

Jacques Selosse Initial disgorged in Oct 2010. IMO Selosse wines are the pinnacle of what champagne represent.

2007 Rudius Alder Springs-Emerald Pool
This needs time to breathe. Very tight at opening. After 1 hour fruit starts to come through but still needs more time. May need to come back to this tomorrow. 1 bottle left so will try again in a year or two.
