I was tempted to do that... but I give my wife such grief about her shopping habbits (e.g. she buys three pairs of shoes to try and match them to an outfit and then takes 2 pairs back if she finds one pair that does) that I couldn't take a page out of her book without feeling sheepish Cool
I wouldn't worry about doing that. I did this today and the return and repurchase were even on the same receipt! The LCBO people could care less. I returned 2 x Leoville Poyferre, 2 x Fonseca Port and a few Burgs. I left with the same wine I came in with and a credit of about $200 on my credit card.

I'm back....

Maverickdrinker,
Check the list that I sent to you by e-mail.
Do a search on the wines you want, the sale says it end on the 29th, but it really is till out of stock...

Duojet, have you tried the Conventino yet? The Poliziano it was compared to in another post was one of my daily drinkers for a long time.

I tried it and I liked it. It was the sleeper of this past release.

Agree. People used to be better at sharing this kind of information.

I also agree. I used to include the prices, but I gave up because so few people were doing it. I like to know how the price I paid compares to other places. You don't need to tell me how many bottles you bought, if you think it's bragging, just the unit price. And make sure the price includes tax and shipping too. Roll Eyes

I agree with Duojet. Very nice wine. I picked up a bottle and opened it up when basecadet was over watching soccer on Saturday afternoon. We both thought it was a steal at $21.

What were your thoughts on teh Bourgogne Emotion de Terroirs 2002?

I had it as part of a wine and cheese party and thought it lovely. Much better than the 87 point WS rating.
