Unbelievable.

I am going to check the both of us into wine buying abstenance therapy. Razz Big Grin

My first step was to walk right by the pretty gold bottles of 1997 Coutet Sauternes yesterday and also pass on the opportunity to buy another 2002 DRC Echezeaux for $227CAD. Roll Eyes Big Grin

BTW, if anyone local wants this bottle of DRC, email me before 4:00 today and I will order it for you.

Picked up two bottles of 2003 Falesco Vitiano Rosso for $7.99 Big Grin at my neighborhood Costco. Gladly discovered afterwards that this vintage scored WS88, WE88, WA89, and that it is 33% Merlot, 33% Cabernet, and 34% Sangiovese.

at Costco for $13.99 each. I thought these looked familiar, and sure enough, I bought one previously and completely forgot about it.

Steve8,
I've had the 01 Domaine Courbis Cornas Champlerose at the LCBO tasting bar, and it is amazing.

Carriedca, I've had several vintages of the Champlerose and I agree with you. Excellent wine. The LCBO is selling it off for $39.95 right now, which is a good price.

2001 Chateau La Gurgue @ $39Cdn
1997 Quintarelli Valpolicella Classico Superiore @ $72Cdn

Steve8 - I have the 1998 Domaine Courbis Cornas Champlerose and it is superb. Before I decided on the Nero d'Avola, that was what I was going to bring last Wednesday. But I've got 8+ of the 98 Champelrose left, so perhaps we'll get a chance to drink it next time.
