For Restaurant Week, my siblings and various in-laws went to a very nice place here in Washington DC. When making the reservation I asked about the corkage fees because I was bringing 8 bottles of wine (there were 12 of us at dinner.) The owner said that because it was RW, they would charge a flat $10 corkage fee for all the bottles. When the check came, there was the corkage fee, total $10.

When in doubt, open another bottle.

We went out with Thirsty Man Monday night and had corkage waved on two bottles.
