Planning of going to Hungary to visit some great producers of Tokaj and some in Eger.

I've read all about the different houses, but who can tell me how I can contact them. What adresses/ internet sites and names can you/anyone recommend??

Thanks a lot in advance...

(BTW: Who knows where some decent Tokaji Aszu is available in The Netherlands? Henri Bloem would receive it by now, but that turned into...May! Frown)

And on the Seventh Day the wine was sour...

Some time ago I was in a shop in Delft where they had a nice collection. The name was Whiskies and Wines (or the other way around, I can't remember). Have you tried www.wijninfo.nl? They have database where you can locate importers. Really useful.

Thanks Ronnie, going to check it out...

BTW, just received mailing from Henri Bloem. Domaine de Pegau 2001 @ 24,95... Are you going to buy some? It received a terrific rating!

NewDutchD.-

I resurrected "winery website links...", the website provides world wide info on wineries.
I've used it to make appointments and for general info.

Start at the top right, it is kind of a small link, but from there You go to individual countries and then regions, enjoy! Smile

Salud!

Sorry, did not make myself clear.
There is a thread called "Winery website links...", I posted last year that was brought back from the "archives".
Scroll down, it is just a few below this one.
Anyway, the address is:

www.travelenvoy.com

Look for "World Index" on the top right, that will lead You to countries, from there to regions and on to individual wineries.
There are a lot of winery website links, just have to navigate. Hope it helps.

By the way: "Es muy dificil, porque soy Rubio!"
Confused Confused

I think it comes from wearing those "wooden shoes" Razz Cool

Salud!
