My actual is just under 2 bottles, but I made a resolution this year to minimize the number of wines where I buy less than 4.

10.35 for me...

Just for perspective, what's your total bottle count?

PH

PH: Sorry I took so long to respond. I've been really busy lately...

"CellarTracker!" currently shows 1,378 bottles. FYI: the average is so high because I typically prefer to buy wine by the case.

Right now, I don't remember specifically how I arrived to "10.35". I don't remember how I compensated for "big bottles" in the calculation (i.e. since "CellarTracker!" treats big bottles as a different wine as you already know).

Update:

I have recently bought several singletons, and now my average is 9.29.

From Cellartracker:
"TOTAL COLLECTION: 1,440 bottles in stock...Wine List 155 found"

25 out of my 150 bottles are less than a 750ml. I only have a few wines that I have multiples of.

Did you see my post about Sauternes in the "where are they now" thread?

Check that Berno. I'm still deciding which Sauternes I will purchase via 2007 futures. So far I have the Doisy Daene and Myrat. Also thinking about the 2006 Rieussec.
