I have never tried any Ken Wright and am thinking of ordering a case. Some are already sold out and I am unfamiliar with the other vineyards. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I don’t know about shipping to B.C., but most of the KW’s are readily available via on-line retailers for a short period after release. Currently, there are still a lot out there. Use wine-searcher to locate some.

I ship to a US address. I find it easier to just order from wineries when I can. I haven't purchased from a wine shop in the U.S., but I do get emails from KL Wines. I think I might try them. Seems reputable.

Dixie,

It may be worthwhile for you to talk to Michael Alberty. He is the Manager at Corkscrew Wine Emporium in Urbana, Illinois -- and a Ken Wright nut. The store's telephone number is (217) 337-7704. They also have a web site.

He's a good guy and has reasonable prices. He could definately give you input on all (at least most) of the Ken Wright single vineyard offerings.

Dixie,

You can check with Marquis Wine Cellars. I bought my Ken Wright there.

Hi Dixie,
Buying wine in the U.S. and having it shipped to a U.S. address is the easy part.
It is getting the wine into B.C. without paying duty and tax that presents the challenge.

You can only bring back 2 bottles duty/tax free personally every time you cross the border.
I am assuming you have a frequently visited address just across the border?
If so, I guess over enough time, you can mule the wine over...2 bottles per person at a time.

Good Luck.

BTW, I have bought from K&L in the past...with good results.
