I had the 2008 Tolaini Al Passo with a wine rep at work and it was funky and barnyard on the nose with first opening. The funk blew off after awhile and there was some fruit but when tasted it on the next day the fruit had all dried out and it was getting astringent.I'd pop and pour it for what it is.

Ha! The entire six pack of 2002 Savigny VV is less than a single bottle of Volcanic Hill. The Diamond Creek was good, but not that good.

Wife was at a conference in Vancouver and picked a couple bottles. A lot better to pay the $55 at BC liquor than the $85 the LCBO Classic Catalogue is charging. Looking forward to seeing what the wine is like.
