I know... Frown Though truth be told, if I did get everything on this list I would have to not accept some of it. I'm going into it thinking that I'm going to get 7-9 bottles of the 28 I ordered. Anything over 12-15 and I'm concidering myself really lucky.

Thank god the rest of my '05 futures are coming in Sept/Oct.!! I'm going to have to get a bigger storage unit...

2 x N.V. Taittinger Champagne Brut
4 x 2004 Chateau Montelena Cab Montelena Estate
2 x 2002 Flora Springs Cab 25th Annv.
4 x 2005 Caymus
8 x 2005 Karl Lawrence Cab
1 x 2004 Stag's Leap Cask 23
2 x 2006 Mollydooker Enchanted Path
1 x 2005 Chateau Montelena Cab
3 x 2005 Corra Cab
2 x 2003 Heitz Martha's Vineyard
1 x 2003 Leonetti Cab
4 x 2000 Chateau Guiraud Sauternes
1 x 2003 Don Melchor

There should be some cases of 05 Bordeaux thrown in here but my girlfriend had to go and remind me of our anniversary this month. Apparently she doesn't think a case of Angelus or Cos d'Estournel is a nice gift. She even wants dinner and flowers in addition to a gift which stomps my wine budget into the ground for the next few months. I feel for you guys with wives.

I dont know you or your girlfriend Sticky, but a case of Angelus or Cos vs. a happy girl friend, thats a tough one. Im married so I have no Angelus or Cos and really not sure if my wife is indeed happy? Big Grin

If you are like me and went a little overboard with '05 futures and need some value picks, here are mine...

'05 Emeritus Pinot Noir - new venture started by former owner of Sonoma-Cutrer. Dedicated Pinot shop, Burg-trained winemaker. You can still get the '05s for $35 while other boutique Calif Pinots like Aubert are getting crazy $.

I never thought I'd say i am finding great value in Red Burg but it is true. I got Nicholas Potel Savigny Les Beaune (RP91) for $45. Many others like this is you have a good Burg source.

Also, I recently had a shocking rediscovery of White Bordeaux. Hadn't had one in years with all the great new world Sauv Blanc out there. Wow, these are fantastic and I found Carbonieux Blanc for $40.

Here's my final great find...Torbreck, the great aussie red maker, has a rose, Saignee Old Vine Rose, that is awesome summer drinking at $17
