Anybody attend Pinot on the River 2009. Stuck in "Blightey" this year so I couldn't go.

Any stand-out wines or even surprises (good or bad)? Anyone missing who you'd normally expect to be tasting?

I attended (this was my second year in a row). It was a gorgeous day and the new venue was good, though the tables seemed a bit more condensed, which created a bit of bottleneck in certain areas. They had a large silent auction with most of the producers donating magnums, etc. I don't remember there being an auction last year.

As for the producers (compared to last year), the only few that jump to mind were that Siduri did not attend and Sea Smoke was there.

I think my favorite pour was a barrel tasting of Kanzler Vineyards 2008 Sonoma Coast. It won't be bottled until January, but I thought it already very well integrated.

Hirsch Vineyards 2007 Bohan Dillon was also quite good.
