Does anyone know when a wine that was released this past Jan. would be rated by Wine Spectator? Or can someone tell me if they know if the Neibaum-Coppola Estate Merlot 2001 has been rated yet? Thanks in advance....

It looks like the 2000 was rated in June 2003. I do not know if they do it annually, but that may be a guide.

publications that rate wine typically gather all the same variety and/or region for one big annual tasting, and they have schedules for them to send to wineries when they request to send wines for ratings. So it could be up to a year after release that a wine may be tasted, then some X more months before the ratings are published.
