I just want to thank all of those who have given their input, solicited or not, over the last two years. Tonight, after completing my last final at UC Berkeley, my wife and I had some fabulous dry-aged steaks, grilled veggies, roasted potatoes and shallots paired with a 1991 Chateau Montelena Estate Cabernet. The meal and ambience was unbelievable and I owe a great deal of gratitude to those who have helped me not only choose the particular wine for the evening, but helped develop my palate so that I can enjoy it.

So, a big thanks to all those who participate on the boards, you're advice has had an incalculable return on a lowly man's palate.

BTW, the 91 Montelena was great!!

Congratulations and I am glad we were an inspiration to you.

(You don't hear that too often on the WS boards.)

wine+art, I think that these young folks should have an opportunity to drink from your cellar. That would expand their experience exponentially.

Congratulations, lizardking. Both to your successful completion at UC Berkeley, and a great choice of wine with which to celebrate the occasion! Cool
