2003 Two Hands Sophie's Garden Shiraz. As of now, it's a distant second behind the '04 Lily's Garden that I had a few nights ago. Very distinct herbal notes on the nose, almost to the point of being overpowering. Some definite dark fruit in there as well but for now it's in the background. Will give it more time in the decanter to see how it evolves.

2006 Anglim Marsanne-Roussanne-Viogner.

I had this two days after I had the 05 Treana Mersoleil Marsanne-Roussanne and it was interesting to be able to compare the different styles. I think the Anglim was better balanced, but a little sharp and slightly bitter on the end, I'd like to try this again in a year. The Treana had put on some weight since I had it last and had a rich honey color. Both very good.
