2005 Coyam, very nice Chilean blend... interestingly enough, the wine faded quite considerably the next day...

Here is to great wines, expensive watches and... low APR credit cards...

I have a couple buddies I used to work with coming over later to grill and chill. I was thinking of popping one of the five 1999 Rubicon I have left, but last time I had it a year and a half ago it wasn't showing well. Not alot of fruit. Has anyone had this lately? Otherwise I was going to open a 1999 Chimney Rock Stags Leap Cab.

Funny thing...I have one of those in my cellar that I was gifted by a generous family. What are your thoughts?

opus has strong cedar but otherwise nice. Lafite is nice but I can't compare it to another lafite as this is my first bottle of lafite. I'm very new to wine. looks like a good sized learning curve.

1999 Elderton Shiraz (their "regular" Shiraz, not the Command). Good stuff. 89-90 points.

Planning on opening a 2003 Phelps Cabernet as well.
