I was really hoping to make it to Chicago that weekend but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Missing the dinner and the Laker-Bulls game is killing me. However, I will be able to be online that day for the draft, just let me know what time it will be.

So from the way it looks, we will just do on-line live draft at an agreeable time.

Draft date will now more likely to be towards the end of Spring Training. What's everyone's preference on weekend or weekday?

If weekday draft, it will probably have to be 9:00pm EST.

2003 Whirlwind Tour

A weekend evening would be preferable (I like the idea of a 7:00 pm PST start - who knows how bleary eyed those out east will be ), but I can adjust to whatever the consensus is.

I will, however, be in Hawaii from 3/19 - 3/25, so those dates are out for me. No computer, no cell phone, no twins, just my wife, golf clubs, and relaxation.

It really doesn't matter I would prefer not to spend a Saturday night in front of a computer for 3 hours, but if that is what the concensus calls for, I can pop open a bottle and see how Marge Schott's drunken draft strategy works. With my wife due anytime in March it isn't like I'm going out to the bars anyway.

Anytime works for me (with the exception of the previously mentioned 3/11 to 3/14 dates), but I would prefer a weeknight. Whatever you decide I will make work.

Any date or time in March works for me.

weeknight would be best for me. Right now March 19-21 is no good. I have another draft in Chicago on the 3/21, and hopefully can hook up with some of the Chicago mafia on either 3/19 or 3/20 for an offline.

Hard to say for me at this point, but I'm pretty sure I will be able to make anytime work.

My preferences would be as follows; weekend days, then weeknights, and avoid weekend evenings if possible.

Weeknight preferably...although a weekend can generally be do-able with enough notice.

I can do a weekend and any weeknight is ok as long as it doesn't go past midnight eastern time.

Weeknights are best for me. With good notice I should be able to make most anything in March work.

Is Rob Deer available in the draft?

Pyang, just a thought. Will the draft order be based on who answered your request for participants? ...and up next @ #14 is WineO?


One more thought. What would you say to a satellite tasting (ie the tasting across usa) during the draft. Posting notes while the slow ones make their pix. I think that would be fun. Especially since I can have the whole bottle to myself.

For the prize pot, I would like to contribute either a 2001 Numanthia or a 2000 Apalta. Preferences? While I'm on the topic of "The Prize". How would you like to handle everything? Should I send you my bottle?

Speaking of TAA? What happened to it. I've never participated, but I like reading the TN's.
