I notice that people are starting to kill, er, drink their 2001 BdM's, Wink . You liked this one obviously, how were the tannins?
JAR brought this to a small offline a few weeks back wanting to evaluate how it's coming along, and of course i wanted to offer any assistance i could.

i didn't pay as close attention to it as i should have, but it seemed like it's really starting to smooth out. tannins weren't offensive but you could tell they were still kickin. of course this is the first taste i've had of this, so i can't chime in on how it was acting even younger.
