Latour67 A while back Jim Molesworth Suggested that folks use real names as they do on Sqires. [You would find her there as Erin Ann, before he banned her] . Erin decided that she would post under her name rather than the alias. After a bunch of weeks, few others here followed suit so she reverted back to the FLwino handle. Same person, but use of real name and alias may have thrown you off. That web site is the company site and the picture is that of the owner. No links there to Erin as she was only an employee.

I am sorry for your loss as well. I miss CDR, too. There was much more spice on the board when I first started posting. Golf and Pinot Nut?

Two more names came to mind: cluricanwines and Golf&Pinot Nut ! However, I found this pensive & poignant post from G&P N , June 4th, 2009, and certainly can empathize with his current issues, and applaud his response. Still, I would prefer that he continue to post.

He spends his time on eBob and is drinking as well as ever.
Hey, I am still alive and kickin' Not sure why I stopped posting here other than maybe posting on 2 different forums was getting to be too much to keep up with. I need to start posting back here as I do miss a lot of the great personalities. I have attended some amazing offlines organized here. Note to self...post here more often.

Wine Joe. Haven't heard from him in quite some time.
---------- "Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink I feel shame. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes and dreams . If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this wine and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

Welcome back, "Eno". As Board-O mentioned, have you opened that Hommage Mag??? Perhaps we should all get together again, and celebrate with that Hommage! BTW, as I remember, that was probably a 1989 Beaucastel, 100 WA points, about a $3000 bottle in todays marketplace! Please help bring back that terrific memory!

I forget now whether it was a 1989 or 1990 (I think 1989), but Parker scored it 100 and said it was one of the best wines he'd ever had. The head salesman at a store I frequent did us a favor and sold it to us for $600 something.
Just one more sip.

It was 1989 and I too am available to help Eno kill it! After all, it was OUR table that won it (remember Eno, you said that you'd share with the table when you opened it - remember...... ) BTW, I just checked it on cellartracker and the median score is 99 in 9 tasting notes (never saw a score that high in so many TNs).

I've heard several theories, but none that I concur with. I'd love to meet him in the flesh one day though.

Who? Please tell. I'm curious.
Nope. But the answer really is obvious....
Not obvious to me. CDR posted in a flurry some time last October but hasn't been seen since. I've run a few searches, but haven't come up with anyone else who disappeared around that time.

I think you're linked up with just about everyone on WSF on Facebook. Too bad people stopped posting their name/handle link on the FB Forums site. I hope I didn't kill that one by linking (which I had Robert delete)

Actually I'd bet w+a is hooked up on FB with more WSF members than I am. The man has been on a mission as of late.
