Wine Century Club was that guy who would unintentionally stir the pot. It was always funny.

I also thought cdr had possibly passed on. However, I do think there are a few people on here who know his identity and one seemed to mention him as if he were still living. But I could have been reading into it incorrectly.

Could be wrong, but I haven't seen any posts from Foghorn Leghorn in awhile. Perhaps he changed his alias?

Yes, your right, it has been very quiet around here without Foghorn Leghorn. Perhaps they've lost their internet service in the higher altitudes of the Colorado Rockies.....

Ben Milano.

Frankly I miss 90% of the people who used to post here before Serge came along. After that Wino Depot was started and this board got much quieter, and hasn't recovered, even after WD folded. In fact other boards like Wine Berzerkers seems to have sucked some traffic away too. This place used to be a lot busier.

I really miss Grunhauser's various identities, and Lou Briccant.

We probably won't see justaskosh around here for a while. We don't even see her locally anyomore since she has taken up competitive Skeet shooting or is it trap shooting - I admit I don't know the difference. But I do know here shotguns cost more than my entire cellar is worth. I do miss her though.

That is when WB's site is up and running. Mad
I think it's a chicken and egg thing, well at least for me. I spend some time at WB because nothing is happening here, and I bet there are other who do the same, go where the action is.

I think the WS Forums traffic has always slowed during the Summer months, but usually picks up in Sept/Oct. Also, I've never been to the WB's site!

Yikes! Kind of a morbid thought dude?

Morbid? I guess so. People die, it happens. As far as I could tell, he was an older gentleman who'd had some health issues in recent years. I hope he's still with us.

I really hope CDR is still with us and in good health. I miss him.

Agreed, but I believe you meant Keith Scott.

Just one more sip.

I've always suspected who cdr was. Don't think he's dead, just think he disappeared about the same time as someone else........

August 6th FL Wino was taken from us due to s traffic accident. Burial was outside Geneva, in sight of the lake we both loved.

She & I shared many wines, and also folks here on the WS forums.

Day after I was at K Frank with my mother, and the taster was telling stories about Konstant in regards to his early years as the Ag Reseach Station in Geneva. Mentioned a few tid bits, of 'rumor' about those days. My mother [now 92]was exec sec to director and said the stories were true. After tasting we had a private tasting, and reminisces with Fred Frank

She did the postings of notes, however we both shared the research.
