There are some WS forumites who sometimes drift away from posting. Who would you like to see posting again?

Where's ronmc2, MIA since March 2007!

there is a service that upon your death will bring closure to your online relationships by delivering a message for you. This way you don't seem to drift off into the ether, ingnoring your old friends.

Except for a very brief appearance, Lorrie checked out after a dustup with some forumites about a year ago.

And, should we assume that cdr has moved on to the great vineyard in the sky? Frown

IIRC, CDR did post something several months ago about being absent due to illness, and it did sound serious. He hasn't posted since then, but let's hope it's not for the reason IB suggested.

Latour, what name do you think he's posting under? Anyone who disses the terroir concept is a distinct possibility. Big Grin

Morbid? I guess so. People die, it happens. As far as I could tell, he was an older gentleman who'd had some health issues in recent years. I hope he's still with us.

It does happen (dying that is). We had a member of our local group pass away a few years back. Cirrhosis. The only way I knew he had passed was his wife signed onto his email account and sent me an email to let me know and ask my assistance in helping her sell his cellar. Frown

These two come to mind immediately:

Pinot Envy
Mishy

I'm sure there are many more if I thought about it.

I really don't have a clue, but I've read some posts and wondered if it was CDR. Also, I seem to remember he was frequently changing is location. Chicago, Napa, Phoenix, Dubai, etc.

Heck, I was hoping Joe would know!

Yeah, I’m aware of the circle of life. Just seemed over the top to say that we can assume he is dead because he is not posting on a wine board anymore. Confused

Ditto.

Ron posts of Squires Board. Don't know why, as he seems to not get along with anyone there.
