I was curious about it being open on Christmas Eve.

It was last year.

Sounds like you might have been their only customer. Wink

Have you tried the 2003? It's on sale locally. Thinking about picking up some.

GA,

I've had the 2003 twice. I prefer the 2002 in a head to head, but the 2003 is certainly a quality bottle. If the price is right, you should pick up a couple, if you routinely enjoy DP. I have been a fan for a long time, and will buy them annually. The David Lynch bottles were on sale, and I could not pass up trying a couple. How it compares to the regular bottling I do not know yet.

Thanks. It was around $110 if I recall.

I'm told by my Champagne guy that it is, as was the Warhol bottling in 2002, the same wine. I had a short pour at the wine store, and at or near the same price I'd buy the 2002 all day long.

GA, that sounds like the right price. Cool

PH, thanks for the info. The 2002 is a bit more difficult to find these days, as I believe local retailers have sold out and have moved onto the 2003s. I agree, the 2002s are better.

Looking forward to your opinion of it. I love the 2002 but think it needs a bit more time.

Just one more sip.

Marcb7, if you landed any of these at below winesearcher low prices, I'd be very interested in becoming acquainted with a new source. TIA!

2 Canadian monopolies since I'll also pay the LCBO's markup when importing same. Just wouldn't feel right otherwise.

I received $100 in the form of two gift cards at work, so I picked up three more bottles of NV Champagne today.

Nicolas Feuilatte Brut
Henriot Brut Souverain
Bollinger Special Cuvee - a lot of chatter about this wine on the forum convinced me to give it a try. $47.99 here at Wine Discount Center, their normal price. The other two were marked down slightly.
