The retailers are still trying to slowly empty their shelves of 1998-2000. There is still a glut. I am cautiously waiting for the 2001 reds to appear in greater numbers. I am also starting to look for the NZ 2002 pinot noirs.

1990 d'Yquem (6 half bottles), as part of my "back to the future" wine buying campaign, a/k/a my mid-life wine crisis.

These may not be at their peak for my drinking window I'm fitting my purchases through, but they ought be very good nonetheless!

1999 Podere Ciona Chianti Classico $16.99(http://www.ciona-wine.com/). A representative from the winery was here in the US stocking bottles and signed one of them for me. This wine came highly recommended. No WS, RP, WE ratings for it though.

1998 Antonio Sanguineti Brunell di Montalcino $26.99 (also very highly recommended, but no formal ratings that I could find)

2001 Danzante Merlot
2002 Danzante Pinot Grigio (got them in a Wine Baskets gift)

Pretty much have run out of drinkers in our stash.... wanted to buy some wine but did not feel like spending money at ALL... so I grabbed a magnum of '02 Rosemount Diamond Label Shiraz. Should last for a good while.

YES! Those are the 2002. I was suprised to see them at that price, as I've seen them on winebid for $100

Found a good deal on 2002 Henry's Drive and 2002 Clarendon Hills shiraz's and grenache's locally. May grab some of them before they dissappear. AM trying to decide between those and a mixed case of 2002 Bordeaux futures (La Mission, Lynch, and Pichon Lalande and a Mouton or two). 2002 was the year I got married so I want to get as many of those, but with a baby girl on the way I have to limit my speding.

Anyone have any ideas between the Aussie's or Bordeaux?

I started off the year with 6 bottles of Ermitage Blanc de l'Oree 2000 and 3 bottles of Guigal La Landonne 1999. Now I just need to schedule a trip to the UK to pick them up ...

I found the Hanzell at a one day mark down on New Years Eve. They have since raised the price to $26.99. Still a great price. Give me your e-mail address if you are interested and I will give you the info. As of yesterday they had about 6 bottles left. reach me at harpburns@aol.com

01 Marquis Tonneaux, CDP. Called Premier Cru to get the incredible deal on Les Clef's D'Or they were featuring ($9) only to find out they were all gone. The salesperson talked me into trying the Tonneaux instead. Anybody out there tasted this wine?

Don't you feel bad about stealing??!

;-)

The 1994 Martinez single quinta received a score of 97 from Wine Speck, and they were low on the rating. That price is outrageous!! That was the original release price, prior to the big number.

Congratulations! You are the Man!
