As I type, it is a Casa Lapostolle Cuvee Alexandre cab 2001. The tannins have soften quite a bit since release and the dark plum, bing cherry and chocolate flavours have evolved very nicely. 90 pts a great QPR

Tonight:
- 2001 Joseph Phelps Le Mistral - off bottle, just tasted and smelled flat. Does that mean corked?
- 2002 Chalone Syrah - ok/good - lots of vanilla. Not sure I agree with this making the 2004 WS Top 100.

Wednesday night in a restaurant in Springfield, MO. I've added their winelist prices because I thought they were great, especially the Cos.

2001 Cos D'Estournel ($89) Really good, but young wine. It will be great.
2002 Casa Lapostolle Clos Apalta ($59)
2003 Siduri PN Clos Pepe ($70)

Methinks I'm going to tick off a lot of people in the TNs forum later this afternoon. Razz Big Grin

Those are GREAT prices for a restaurant. Please post the name. They deserve the exposure!
