Evian water. I've been on call 3 of the last 5 days. Brutal! I'll make up for it over the next week at the chalet with my wife and sons.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

1996 Kalin Cellars Sonoma County Pinot Noir Cuvee DD; drinking fabulously! Still lots of body with this regardless of the bricking/clear hue around the rim. Nice legs clinging to the sides of the glass. Very nice nose of red berries. The palate has the tartness of red berries as well on the front end but the midpalate hits you with both riper fruits and Christmas spices. A very nice domestic pinot noir that most everyone would mistake for Burgundy; including myself. Love Kalin wines, both red and white.

2009 Hence Cellars Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon; nice qpr I picked up from Garagiste. Drank over 3 days and held up nicely over all 3.

Pretty well particularly considering how young it is. I did not have time to decant but it was showing pretty good anyway. Good dark cherry fruit. Nice QPR @ $35.
