While I hold Vino Me in high esteem, RM does not mean better Champagne... not even close.

I will put Krug, Salon, Bolinger RD, Pol Roger Churchill, Roberts, Philipponnat, Gosset, and others against RM wines in a blind tasting any day any place!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are 2200 growers in the Champagne region. Some good, some bad, just like any region. However, you can compare grower champagnes to similarly priced champagnes from the large houses and they will more than hold their own.

I didnt see this addressed in the thread so far...what does MV mean on a bottle of wine(ive only seen it on krug)
