I tend to like Champagne on the younger side. I've only tasted this wine twice- once at the winery in August, 2011, and a bottle with a picnic dinner a few days later. Seemed ready to go to me, but I bet w+a would lay it down. By the way, all Jean Milan's wines are 100% Grand Cru.

Finca Dofi used to be in the $85 neighborhood just a few years ago. The currency trade has really served this one well. Excellent price for the wine now.

Drank the 2006 Dofi at Dos Palillos in Barcelona this summer.

I convinced a couple of Brits seated next to me to order it. They were so impressed with my recommendation that they shared!

Yes- the Krug came from Flickinger and the others from the local Binny's on close out.

There are still some of the Krug in stock, but I cleaned out my local store of the Burgs, though as you cn see, not much there to begin with.

I didn't buy it at the KGBO, which means I actually paid a fairly reasonable price ($69). For a great vintage of this producer, good value.
