Is it anything like the Petite Sirah they put into the Angeli? That stuff tastes like cough syrup with Sweet'n'Low.

I've had the 2005 Marietta Petite Sirah before and while it is inky black with alot of dark fruits and licorice and big, rich and tannic i didnt think it was cloying or tasting like cough syrup.
