Is it anything like the Petite Sirah they put into the Angeli? That stuff tastes like cough syrup with Sweet'n'Low.

I've had the 2005 Marietta Petite Sirah before and while it is inky black with alot of dark fruits and licorice and big, rich and tannic i didnt think it was cloying or tasting like cough syrup.

this morning:

- 1998 Krug X2
- 2007 JJ Prum Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese X3
- 2007 JJ Prum Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Goldkapsel X1
- 2009 M Brocard Chablis Vaulorent X4
- 1967 Bertani Amarone X2

Had the Amarone a few days ago w/Steve8, Mitpradikat, and Gundam. Library release that looks and tastes younger than it is, drinks very well now but will go a few more years, complex, interesting and exciting, so I bought a couple more. Highly recommended.

Any thoughts on the wine would be appreciated as I have no experience with Dofi Confused
I bought 3 bottles a few months back.
