JFTR, Parker didn’t score these wines. Jay Miller did.

I have no experience with Quilceda Creek, but is 2015-2040 a realistic drinking window for one of these wines? I would be curious to know from folks that know the producer well. It seems like Jay's drinking windows are always incredibly long.

Jays windows are always long. I think it's safer to ignore them entirely. His enthusiasm is nice though.

As far as QC, I can't say with precision. But I recently put together a tasting of 1998 Washington cabs/cab blends and none of them were over the hill. However, a number of them seemed to fall off drastically over the two hours of the tasting.

Yes but people will continue to purchase these with the notion that "I need to have a 100 pointer" or other inane reasons...

Interesting, HS gave the Cab 94 points with a drinking window of 2010-2017.

Hmm...

HS is also on crack. He has missed on way too many wines for me to give his reviews and credence. The 2005 K Vintners Wells for one --HS 77--easily one of my favorite wines this year. The 2003 Cayuse Armada for #2--I think he gave it an 83 and if you have had that wine, it's not even close to that. The 2005 K Vintners The Boy as example #3. I think he gave it a 74 and it's definitely not a flawed or undrinkable wine as a 74 would indicate.
Maybe he's just drinking way too many Aussie shiraz and it's thrown off his palate to well made wines.
