It was decanted for about 45 minutes while we had our apps. I found it quite full-bodied with a long textured finish. Not the least bit tight, I'm not sure it actually need any decanting at all.

In ontario on the Waupoos(sp?) Penninsula there is a new family winery owned by Italians called Bella Vineyards. Pat Delgatto of Delgatto Estates took silver in some local competitions and gallo, is buying all of his grapes for limited release stuff. I don't know if he is commercial yet, but if you called or stopped by I'm sure he would entertain with some stories and some vino

2001 Lynch Bages
Opened the wrong vintage bottle by mistake.
Gotta get a brighter light down there!
Too young, but it opened up very nicely. Delicious.

The 2001 Ripassa was great. Skip the 2003 from Zenato, however.
