Dang, first visit to the boards and I'm already thirsty.

/peaks in cellar.......hmmmmmm. It's a week night. Behave !

Ooh,looky. A youngster. 2003 Chris Lede Petite Syrah. Terrible waste to drink it now but too good to pass up.

I'll have purple teeth during my meeting tomorrow.

Somehow, I'll suffer through it.

honestly, i didn't pay that much attention to the pur sang. it was tasted side by side with the aubert and it was hard for anything to stand out above that.
the bella's was HUGE and dark, but (obviously) light years to young. kind of hard to gauge that one. the lily's was showing well tho.

NV Lanson Rose Brut.

Excellent stuff. Lots of Pinot aromas on the nose and Pinot is also very recognizable on the palate. Nice light salmon/peach colour. I think WS was right on rating this 92 points.

I'm back....
