2001 Kaisler Stonehorse Shiraz
2005 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc

A 2004 Sanford Santa Rita Chardonnay was gross as it seemed to be in the last stages of secondary fermentation. Red Face Just a tad too much spritz in an oaky Chard for me. Big Grin

Cool I'm a little intimidated (nah, not really Smile ...just hugely impressed!) by these wines. I'm having a very simple 2002 Rosemount GSM.

The 2002 Rosemount GSM is a good wine at a great price. I would not call it 'very simple' -- I'd say that it is a smart choice!

So far, over the weekend, all with grilled fare:

2002 Karl Lawrence Cabernet Sauvignon (went head to head against the ‘03)
2003 Karl Lawrence Cabernet Sauvignon (similar to the ‘02, but the ‘03 is clearly a better wine)
2003 Merry Edwards Klopp Ranch Pinot Noir (a great CA PN, glad I bought another 6-pack)
2003 Ponzi WV Pinot Noir

Well, it's July so... Riesling, Riesling and some more Riesling.

Nothing too fancy though, saving up for a trip, but right now some Stoneleigh Marlborough Riesling, a very good budget alternative.
