Pulled up some ratings for 2003 sauvignon blancs so far (WS). Top 3, all South African. 90 points+ each, all under $20. Interesting.

I'm a NZ fan myself. Kim Crawford was reviewed well. Kim Crawford produced over 30,000 cases and was 90 points. I didn't go through it all and read vinserves tasting notes on a few. I know generally 2003 in NZ will not be as strong (on average) as 2002. Any good ideas for soon to be or now widely available 10,000 case+ releases of 2003 NZSB? or other areas?

Maybe me and some other NZ fans need to look at other areas for 03. I'm not crazy about most Ca's I'be had though. They lack the zest of the NZ's IMO (generally)
