Bummer. In London there are still plenty of room temp options including Guinness. The good pubs had cold and room temp Guinness. Some of my friends from the states asked how I could drink "warm" beer. I had to remind them that room temp in the UK was not all that warm Smile

I remember when Moose Drool became a popular faddish import here back in the mid 80's. I worked with a Canadian who grew up near the brewery, and he couldn't believe it. He said it was just the local horse pi$$ beer when he was a kid.

A LOT of beer while watching the ass-kicking OU put on the entitled ones from Austin. Cool

The leaders of the day were:

The Lost Abbey
St. Bernardus Abt 12
Rochefont Trappistes 8
Unibroue La Terrible
Weltenburger Kloster Asam Bock

Now off for lunch/dinner and drinks at a private room reserved for our group of 20.

Let the celebration begin!

It's wrong anywhere, but in Ireland, it's a tragedy.

Unfortunately you may be right, hence the copious amounts of beer ahead of time to ease the pain! Wink
