i have been looking for some sort of conclusive answer to this argument and seem to be getting swamped in claim and counter claim! as i understand it only 1-3% of wine gets corked but if this were milk or juice would this practice continue? i think not, so why do wine producers continue to use cork? ok i will admit to liking the whole uncorking process but..............oh i am beginning to confuse myself now! any thoughts anyone?
