Some of you already know, I will be leaving my current job with Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines as of next Friday, February 20th.

I have accepted an offer from winebid.com to start my next chapter in the wine industry effective March 1st. This is going to be a great opportunity to further my career in the business I love.

So here are the really important parts. Wink

1. I will still be based in Napa, so I can keep on entertain any of the traveling forumites that's visiting, provided you are willing. Big Grin

2. I will have a job I love and lots of work to do, so you peanut gallery can't accuse me of not having a real job anymore. Razz

3. If any of you would like to thin down your cellar to better prepare for the next great vintage, you know how to get a hold of me. I will do my best to make the transaction as smooth as possible. Smile

Last but not least. I know there may be some of you that had not so pleasant experience with winebid in the past, this is hopefully where I can come in to learn from the past and better the future. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any suggestions, voice of concerns, or anything else regarding winebid.

This concludes my 3,500th post public announcement. Wink

And Dave,
Where in the world have you been? You hit 1000 very quietly. Hope all is well.

Cheers!

Congrats Pyang and best wishes, but I'm jealous. I would love to work in the wine industry but the career switch is easier said than done.

Congratulations PYang on your new endeavor. While I am new to this forum, I have read several of your posts, which I have found to be very informative. Keep the posts coming. You and other vets to the forum have no idea how much you all help us newbies. Again, congratulations and I'm sure you will exceed everyone's expectations.

congrats Pyang.

Hey one question for you in your new role at winebid. They used to have a UK website but it was stopped a couple of years back. Will there be any plans to resuscitate the .uk part of winebid again? I stopped using winebid when this happened.

I came here for a good argument!

Congratulations and best of luck with your new chapter. It's sounds interesting and I can see you enjoying it!!! As you know, you have been asking me (and everyone else)to sell part of my cellar, but I want to add to my cellar.

Congrats Pyang, I wish you much success in your new position.

Does this mean that you are going to have let Ken A. win at poker now? Razz

STAY AWAY FROM MY CELLAR YOU VULTURE!

In all seriousness, best of luck and success in your new venture.

Congrats and good luck Pyang. When are you going to take a business trip back to Chicago so we can whip you at whiffleball again?

Yes, but I came here for an argument.

Oh! Oh! I'm sorry, this is abuse.
