Costco here in Mpls. had 05 Angelus for $269.00 a bottle. Oops! Guess that was a good price.
I'm almost positve this is the only Costco in Canada (unless in Calgary?) that sells wine period. The rest of the country is under Government control. I was happy with my $365.00 CDN purchase. In fact I will most likely buy more.

I picked up a case of "Kirkland Handcrafted Beer" last weekend. It includes a 6-pack each of German Lager, Hefeweizen, Pale Ale, and Amber Ale for $15.99. Bottles say they're brewed by Hoppen und Malz brewing company in San Jose, CA. That name is just too cutesy for words.
So far: I was not thrilled by the German Lager. Seems like they went way overboard on the German hops, knocking it out of balance. The Hefeweizen was agreeable, though not up to the quality of Oregon's Widmer, which to my taste, is the gold standard of American hefeweizens. I had the Pale Ale last night, and again, while agreeable, there was nothing outstanding about it. I haven't yet tried the Amber.
So, OK beer for the price, but I doubt I'll be buying more. I'm sure I'll finish these off when I'm out mowing the lawn.

Costco.com has a few closeouts worth considering. Some wines are listed twice with 2 different sku #'s and prices. That is due to whether it is being shipped to WA or CA,NM, and OR.

If you buy the 2005 Ch Longueville Pichon Baron you will not be disappointed. I have posted before but this was the wine of last years Union Grand Cru Bordeaux tasting of the 2005 vintage at "Le Weekend des Grand Amateurs" tasting in Bordeaux. There were 101 Grand Cru from left and right bank + Suaternes including La Conseillante, Ch Angelus, Ch Figeac, Ch Pontet Canet, Ch Lynch Bages, Ch Leoville Barton, Ch Longueville Pichon Lalande etc and Ch Longueville Pichon Baron really did stand out.
The Aloha, OR store has the 2005 CH Ducru-Beaucaillou at $99.97 a bottle. When I left, there were 2 bottles left. I paid $169.99 previously for each from costco.com...
I remember the store near PDX also has a few bottles but I don't recall if the price is the same. It's hard to find nice French wine in this area...
