There was some at Azusa, but it's gone. An item check revealed that Marina Del Ray and San Juan Capistrano have, or will have a bunch. I'd check first.

My local Costco just delivered on my pre-order of 2005 Leoville Barton. All looks good except my costco Amex card now.

I had forgotten about the wine I "pre-ordered." I got a call from them in late January indicating that I was getting some of the wine, but have not heard anything since. I wonder if it will be fulfilled. Passing on Pontet-Canet at $85, or whatever it was, is going to be very tough if I get a call before 9/01.

Hardly earth shaking, but Westlake Village Costco had 2007 Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc marked down to $11.00 - I picked up a six pack.

Los Feliz, CA:

There's a case of Ducru Beaucaillou 05 sitting underneath the tables. $168 per. Bit of a deal at current prices.

Two cases of Faugeres 2004 for 35. This is 2005 pricing, so I'd stay away.

I bought a 2004 Couly-Dutheil Chinon La Baqronnie Madeleine at the Oakbrook, IL Costco today. 90 points from WS and only $14.00.

I wish they had the 2005 that JM scored 92 points at $16.00.

Ouch! Isn't this thread supposed to be about good prices at costco? I'd bite on the Pavie if I knew where it had been for the last 4 years. Other than that, aren't these pretty close to or at market price?

*******
This IS next year!

Those are good prices. Good luck finding the 05 Cos for less than that. Melchor for 52 is fantastic as well.

Yeah, a few of them are nothing special, but as Sticky said the Cos and Don Melchor I think are about as low as you can find them. The Taittinger is a good price, at least for around here where it usually retails for $45+, and based on winesearcher it looks like the Elderton is at the low end of the scale too.

North Phoenix Costco 101 and I-17 is reducing its wine display down to just one row of bins. They had over 50 sku's that were to be closed out. All the really good stuff is gone :-) But there are still a few worth picking up. 2005 Groom shiraz for 14.97, 2005 Trapiche Malbec Vina Fausto Orellana for 19.97, 2006 Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc for 5.97. They also had Greg Norman on closeout, chard and shiraz.

I just went there today but didn't see the 05 Cos. However, they do have item# 174653 05 Montrose for $104.99 each.
