One of the Costco's here in AZ had the Sandemans 20yr for that price briefly. It got snatched up pretty quickly. Thats a great deal.

Haven't had the Chateau La Fleur Morange but it looks to be an exceptional value too. Where abouts in CA is it?

I bought it in Carlsbad. They had more last night so I bought more. A friend bought a case tonight. I can't believe this is Merlot and great Merlot for this price. American Merlot of this quality would be $40+.

I picked up a half bottle of the 04 (I think) earlier this year - pretty good QPR at around $12 as I recall. When I went back for more they were all gone.

Dave, those are actually 2005's. I bought one as recommended by the wine guy. It tasted very young but with good potential. When I went back for more, they're all gone!

Holy smokes! Which location did you find the '04 Las Cases at!?! That price is drop-dead ridiculous! Hopefully not Carlsbad...

You're right, I checked CT and it was the 05. This was last August.

Kansas City Costco has the 2005 Louis Jadot Moulin-à-Vent Château des Jacques for $17.89. Yum.

They were also closing out the 04 Chryseia for $19.97 Eek They only had one left, but it's now in my cellar.

The local Costco has 1999 Chateau Haut-Brion for 175. Should I pick a few up at this price?

Not when the 2004 is at $180 and rated higher. BTW, I did get the 99 several years ago at Costco for $120.

I bought some locally for $220. If you're hankering for some, give Kahn's Fine Wines in Indy a call, it may still be at that price.

Where did you find it for 180? A quick winezap check showed the cheapest at 192.

Costcos in the SE Michigan area. Specifically in Bloomgield Hills, Livonia and Lake Orion. That was about a months ago. Last I checked, the Lake Orion Costco still has half dozen bottles left.

you're going to like that La Roquete...I tried a bottle about a year ago, it was delicious! A great deal at $24. If you can find it, the 2005 Clos de l'Oratoire is another great CdP steal for under $30, although I've never seen it at Costco.

Something I never thought I would see at a Costco, 2000 Cristal for $199. Irvine, CA location.

Yup, had it last night. It was wonderful. A great buy at that price. Unfortunately, there weren't any left when I went back.

I was in the Winston-Salem, NC Costco yesterday and noticed that it had a 2005 Bordeaux Reservation Form. You simply complete the form and Costco reserves your wines and contacts you when they arrive. You pay when you get your wines and you do not have to submit any type of payment information upon reservation. In addition, the prices seemed reasonable. Wines are expected to arrive between February and June and you have 10 days to pick up your wines once you are contacted. A lot of the wines were First-Growths, but it did have some Pontet-Canet at $89.99 and others. Leoville Barton was sold out. The price on it was $89.99.

I know there is a lot frustration with the '05 pricing and most people that are buying '05s have probably already ordered through futures. I have never seen anything like this at Costco before and I am assuming it is new. I just wanted to let everyone know in case there was some interest.
