FWIW 2003 Pichon Baron at $65 is a good deal. Lowest Winesearcher price is about $85. Also, I got 2003 Les Forts for $50 from Costco, but that was back in April or May.

There were also 12 at the San Jose Costco on Senter.
When I left there were still six left.
Apparently they had been there for a couple of weeks.

I'm a newbie at smart qpr.
found these at Cave Creek in AZ
Any of these worth the buy?:
Ferrari Carano Sienna 03 17.69
KJ Grand Reserve Cab 03 21.99
KJ Vintners Reserve Cab 03 13.49
M&D Phillips 7 Deadly Zins 04 12.89
Bonny Doon Cardinal Zin 04 14.99
Marques de Caceres Rioja Crianza 02 9.49 (WS 84pts)
Marques de Caceres Reserva 00 20.89 (WS88pts)
Will de Capezzana Carmignano 03 16.97
La Valintina Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 04 11.99
Banfi Chianti Classico Riserva 03 13.79
Masi Verona Campofiorin 02 12.99 (WS85pts)
Masi Verona Campofiorin 03 12.99 (WS85pts)

I've had both Masis. The 02 was much fuller and richer than the 03, which I found a bit thin for a repasso, despite JS's remarks.

I just don't know if any of these are "must buy" prices.

Thanks for your help.

A friend's wife purchased a 5 liter d'Yquem for him for his birthday. Taller than "Webster."

My main concern is that they would receive wine in like they receive skids of paper towels. Park it out back in the sun while they find a spot for it.

I would hope it won't be served at a diabeties fundraiser. Confused Roll Eyes

Yquem or not Yquem... that is one hell of a lot of sweet wine. I can only imagine the number of people required to polish off a 5l. 25? 30?
