Couple of cases of Haut Brion on Coleman in San Jose. $113.
There was a sign for Lafite but I didn't see any.

Anyone spotted Leoville Barton yet?

Not Costco but The Wine Club (SC) right across the street has the 2002 Leoville Barton for $37.99. I picked up a few bottles, Costco will probably be cheaper by 2-5 dollars.

There's 9-10 bottles of the 02 Haut Brion for $113 at Livermore, CA, yesterday.

I also saw my first 2000 Kirkland St. Emilion Bordeaux there too.

In Ontario, 2002 first growths are $250-325CAD ($200USD+!) Eek Red Face

I think a trade is in order.... Anybody out there with access to these wines coming to Toronto in the near future or going to the Cellar Diminishment Party on August 27th?

Pyang,

One bottle of HB or Lafite would be great!

Does anyone know of a Costco or Sam's Club within a 100 mile radius of the San Francisco bay area that sells 2002 Latour and/or 2000 Ausone?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

2000 Ausone is long gone, there may still be scattered bottles of 2001 available...

To the best of my knowledge, 2002 Latour has not hit the Nor Cal Costco yet. No target date for this as of yesterday.

Pyang,

Lafite would be preferred with HB my second choice.

Let me know if you are interested in any of the wines you see the Ontario forumites discussing on the boards.

Thanks!

Baird,

How about this? Bring me some Canadian Icewine, what ever works out to equivalent value. Would that work?

Pyang,

Absolutely. Icewine or even D'Arenberg Dead Arm ($56CAD for the 2002) if you are interested works for me.

I will be in Niagara next month, so let me know if there is a producer you prefer. Inniskilin is the big name but there are many other wineries that are making good Icewine. I like Vidal wines every once in a while as it is inexpensive but Riesling is the grape that makes the best Icewine. Cab Franc also makes an Icewine that is generally outstanding but pretty rare.

P.S. If you wouldn't mind picking up 2 bottles (2 seperate first growths? Smile) that would also work if that isn't asking too much. Just a thought..... Wink Big Grin

Thanks again,

Brent

aav28,

If you can arrange from someone to get the wine to you from Chicago, I can pick them up for you here in Cali.
