What's your favourite sweet white wine that's available in 375s for under $20?
I drank my last 1997 d'Arenberg Noble Riesling last night. I picked up a case in the UK for about £10 each some time ago, but wine-searcher doesn't show up any under $20 (+tax) in the US
Got any recommendations for a nice midweek sticky?
Right now I'm looking at the 2000 Royal Tokaji 5 Puttonyos Red Label - it's $22 for a 500.

Any Yalumba Museum stickie under $20 (I forget the precise designations but there are two or three of them) is worth twice the price if you like your stickies thick and rich.
Most Buller, Chambers and Campbell stickies I've had have also been great.

I really should have clarified. I'm not too into the oxidised wines; they are OK but not really what I'm looking for. I prefer the late harvest/sauternes/botrytis style.

If you’ll allow me to cheat just a little bit on your price cap, I’ve got a few ‘03 Rieussec’s on futures coming at $25 ea. Wish that I had bought a lot more. You can still get ‘04 futures at about that price and lower.

Yes! Although not a gigantic scorer, I usually like to pick up some of the Doisy Vedrines and to a lesser extent the Doisy Daene. I haven't cared for the Myrat though although I've only had a couple of vintages.

Dave, if you can find any, the Forrest Botrytised reisling (NZ) is sublime. I've only had the 2003, but I know one who hasn't loved it. It cost under CAD$30 the 2 or 3 top sauternes I've had, it would be worth a flutter, given the types of stickies you prefer.

Dave, are you saying that you've finished all your 2001 Chateau Haut Bergeron? I got the impression that stocked up on these. oritz
Not well enough I'm afraid; I'm down to my last two. I do have a couple of cases or so of Sauternes in total, but the big problem is that I'm short of 375s. Ali's not a big fan of stickies, so the 750s have to wait for when we have guests. And I'm way short on the older stuff - K&L hasn't had much in recently.
