I remember trying these at a wine show in Toronto shortly after they were released and
commenting on their quality at that time.
These were purchased at a silent auction that night and stored at 57F and 70% humidity.

Opened tonight with Mrs. DP. The colour was medium cherry with no bricking. Slightly opaque.
The nose was very muted with some earth, truffles, but no fruit. The characteristic strawberry jam was not to be found. In the mouth, even more diasappointing. Bitterness with no fruit, almost madeirized. The sides of my tongue screamed to discard immediately. My wife shot me that characteristic wife-like glance of "what the hell-are you trying to poison me"?
Unfortunately, very disappointing and nowhere to go but downhill. I'd say drink up now, but that would be a disservice. NO score.
