Usually around 7pm EST, however with the NFL often running over the 7pm mark it could commence at 7:30 or even 7:45 PM

People used to fear a 60 Minutes crew showing up on their doorstep...

Don't know why I expected more. But it was basically a pleasant, but shallow, over view of the family and the fact that they make wine. Some pleasant shots of some of the vineyards and estates.
If you missed it, you didn't miss much. |

Back in the Mike Wallace days, having them show up meant they were investigating something, and investigating hard. Usually chasing some pol or corporate exec/thief down the street as the guy ran, holding his hat or coat over his face. They made the FBI look like pikers. Not like the soft infotainment that passes for investigative journalism today. When did subjects and politicians get to dictate to the press "no follow-up questions"? Pure BS! Sorry about the off topic rant. I'll check out the Antinory story in a few minutes, West Coast time. *********** You never see crazy people walking the streets, screaming about atheism, do you? |

Overall pretty basic. They did have some nice behind the scene stuff. It was nice to see the family lunches and Piero Antinori's office.

The part that I found the most interesting about the article is that the patriarch decided to sell the family business, that has been in the family since the 1300's, because he didn't have a male heir. He eventually bought it back and his 3 daughters seem to be making a pretty good go of it.

If you go to CBS website they have the whole video in their 60 Minutes section. I think the whole video ran for 12 minutes.
