Misslinds

When you have a chance, could you write a short review of the area?

List a couple good resturants, hotels, and wineries?

Hope you don't get dissed and put down for doing it. Always love to hear of new areas.

Thanks for your input, and let me be the first to say welcome aboard.

Now that I've found the forums, I don't need reality TV anymore.

Thanks for the entertainment!

And found one of our resident blowhards, e-bullies, that pipes in and drives new folks away. There are a couple others lurking about and hope they don't chime in.

and no, I don't expect a note from Indybob, re my thoughts. Razz Razz

misslinds,

Welcome to the boards. You do indeed live in a beautiful part of the world. There are some vineyard sites that are highly regarded throughout California. Most people do not realize that some of their favorite, large production wines are augmented by fruit from growers in Murphys, despite the fact that the winery's home appellation of Sonoma or Napa is on the label.

People jumping to conclusions and lacking desire to discuss wine related issues is a common thing here. Don't let it bother you.

Finally! After 3000 posts, something upon which we can agree.

Ignore it, misslinds. Welcome to the site.

Just one more sip.

Perhaps to avoid jumping to conclusions we should have a few set questions that new forumites should be required to answer?

1. Thoughts on terrior?

2. If given a 2005 Bordeaux should you drink it now, or wait 10 years. Please explain.

3. Should you ship your wine during the summer months?

4. Why were you kicked off eBob?

5. What is your favorite Australian critter wine??
