The regular wines there are usually no big deal or value but when they have a sale you can score.

So, I happened to run by my local one today and stumbled onto a sale - they had a 50% off rack with some decent wines - I got a 6-pack of Allegrini Palazzo della Torre ('04) for ~$11 a bottle. They also had a couple good value sparklers (eg, Dom. Chandon Etoile rose for $18) and a couple domestic whites

Thanks for the heads-up. I've gotten some very good deals before on their 50% off sales ('03 Pontet Canet for $38 a couple of years ago).

Which is your 'local' store here in St. Louis? I'll make sure to stear clear, since it is already picked over.

Not much at the Lynnwood store on Sunday, either. I did pick up a couple 375's of Sin Zin for $3.88. Good enough for a burger.

Has anyone come across any decent rose still wine at the local store?
