Local place had the Cline Ancient Vines Mourvedre for $10.99 per bottle and the Ancient Vines Zin for $11.99 (unless it was the other way around). I bought some since this is a nice price for a good everyday quaffer. They also had the Taittinger NV for $26.99, so I grabbed some of that.

Found a couple Pinots today. They only had 1 bottle of each so I bought them both. Wish they had more.

Have you had this before, tm? Is it worth the extra coin? Nice pick-up on the '06 Sassi, BTW. I think you'll really enjoy those.

Nope-I have not had them before. I thought I would buy a few and see what all the fuss was about. The sassi is nice. I tried that one before buying. G

When a great deal comes along, you have to pounce. I picked up 6 packs of each of Chapoutier's Côtes du Roussillon-Villages Domaine de Bila-Haut Latour-de-France Occultum Lapidem 2007 and Côtes du Roussillon-Villages Les Vignes de Bila-Haut 2007. Terrific values for those who love mouthfilling, southern French reds...

A very, very good deal indeed. That's generally the price of the Termes, its' lower priced sibling. Well done Yogi

That price is ludicrous even by SAQ standards. Granted it's for the '05 still, but I've found the price doesn't change much recently. I recall first buying the '03 vintage at $36 in the States and finding that a great deal.
