My sentiments exactly. You beat me to the punch.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

Will try to buy up to 6 bottles. I'm older than my sons born in 2010. They will be able to appreciate that wine I hope !

I just turned 46, so it is gonna be a crap shoot, but I will be retiring when I am 56, so I'll start drinking them as a retirement treat in my "golden years" if I make it that long... Fingers crossed! I'm sitting on a bunch of 2005 Pavie ,L'Evangile, and Malescot St. Exupery, so I think my late fifties and my sixties will be a good time.

I kind of liked the sounds of the 24 bottles of 2009 Pontet Canet that Bates40 picked up. I think my 12 bottles of Beaucastel pale in comparison. I couldn't afford the 2009 PC prices. I haven't been able to afford/buy Bordeaux since 2006 vintage.

By the time I logged in, only the white was available. I wish listed an additional two each of the reds, adn they gave me 1 each of the reds.

All good.

12 x 2011 Domaine Auguste Clape Le Vin des Amis

Found '09 and '10 Beaucastel for $67 locally, so I'll be doing a split case of that in a week or two.

The folks at No Girls told me I was at the top of the wait list, so hopefully that comes through, and I'm gonna go after that Schrader "Perfect Pair" on Wednesday... a lot of wine for me this month...
