Nice features. What about the blogs, Insider, etc. Any chance there'll be access to some of these areas of the site as well? |

omg..I ve been using my Treo for years to access the entire site.. This will probably be like Ebays version and severely restrict basic usage.
All for the sake of a 2 second faster download. Ill give it a try and report back "A bottle of wine contains more advice then any self help book in the world" |

I don't think you are required to use the mobile site with your treo.
Rule One: Obey all rules! Second, do not write on the walls...as it takes a lot of work...to erase writing...off of walls." |

It's a great feature especially if you are in the wine shop or restaurant ordering a wine and wanted to know what the rating of the wine was.
Looking forward to using it. |

Thanks, KSC02. The short answer is, not right away -- we'll see how it does before we start adding more features. Winegirl58 is correct that WS Mobile is a stripped-down version of the site, meant to improve download speeds and be generally easier to use on small-screen devices. Please let us know whether or not you find that useful. |

Exactly! Great use for the site access for now. Pretty handy, IMO. |

Joe - I do find a stripped down mobile site very useful. I've been using the main site via a Treo (Palm OS) and Samsung device (Win Mobile) for several years, and navigating has always been a huge frustration. As you develop this, if you want a superb example of a mobile site that trims the fat while preserving content, take a look at NYTimes.com. Interestingly enough, it "knows" when you are on a mobile device even if you just go to the main site - any chance you guys can do that? Anyway, thanks for the addition - I do find it valuable. |

Joe,
Great addition. Browsing any site with a mobile phone is always difficult. If your out and about and your looking to get a rating on a wine from a wine list, wine shop shelf this will do the trick. Regards, Conor |

I have been using it since yesterday, great work!
I used to access the actual web page before this but it was simply too slow to access... Here is to great wines, expensive watches and... low APR credit cards... |

Mr. Meyerson,
Will you put the forums in the mobile format ? I have a Pocket PC running Windows Mobile 5 and I can read the forums but I'm not able to post. Maybe it's my version? I have no problem with other BB's running vbulletin. Not that it's a big issue, but it would be fun. Just a thought. JL |

Very cool. I've used the regular site on my Blackberry and, like others here, have found it slow and difficult to use. The mobile site is a huge improvement. Thanks!

I tried it for the first time tonight. I used by Blackberry to check out some ratings while at the local LCBO. Very useful.
